Hpp Exhibitions Returns To Moscow With New International Floriculture Trade Exhibition

Moscow, March 3, 2011 - HPP Exhibitions has launched for the second time an international floriculture trade fair in the capital of Russia. After an absence of 12 years HPP has taken the decision to follow up with this new inititiave. HPP for this purpose was asked by representatives from the Russian flower industry to set up a new trade show especially dedicated to the flower & plant sector in Russia. The event will take place in the state of the art exhibition hall Gostiny Dvor, situated  downtown Moscow on a walking distance from the Red Square. The Fair will take place from Tuesday August 30 through Thursday September 1. At this moment over 50% of the 11.000 m2 available exhibition space has already been taken.

BEAUTIFUL LOCATION
The luxurious monumental exhibition hall Gostiny Dvor is a fully restaurated building and has an impressive glass roof, which at any fresh flower & plant event will create an almost ideal environment, where colours can come out to their full glory. There are 300 parking spaces available for visitors and the proximity of the metro makes the exhibition grounds also easy to reach. The Hall is the home for many more niche trade expo’s throughout the the year and an international flower fair just perfectly fits into the profile of the hall that offers almost 12.000 m2 exhibition space. “The Russian floriculture trade has achieved such a high level in the past 10 years that a specialised trade event is needed in order to bring the industry to the next level”, according to Dick van Raamsdonk, organiser of Expo Flora Russia.

PURE FLORICULTURE TRADE FAIR

For years the need for a much more specialised professional floriculture trade fair was felt within the industry. For this reason the exhibitor profile of the trade fair will be focused on breeders, growers, floral suppliers and the trade in flowers & plants itself. Besides attracting international companies to exhibit, the organisers direct their efforts as well on Russian companies active in the floriculture sector. Especially importers and growers of flowers & plants from inside Russia are an important target. Only by fully including the Russian Floriculture in the Expo you close the circle and allows you to build on a professional trade show with a future in Russia”, according to van Raamsdonk who has been organising numerous trade fairs in Russia in the past.

GROWER AND IMPORTER ARE KEY
Growers and importers are prime targets, both as exhibitor as well as visitor for the organisers. Suppliers understand this and act accordingly. This makes them also become an important part of the exhibitor profile. Especially breeders of flowers have positioned themselves as such and now rank, together with the grower and importer, in the top 3 of most important participants in the exhibitor profile of the trade fair. As far as the visitor profile is concerned (besides growers and importers), the organisers concentrate on the wholesale and retail trade. To assure that everybody within the sector will be aware of this important floriculture event, an extensive publicity campaign will be launched in the coming months in- as well as outside Russia.
