Horti Fair 2011 gets surprising programme with lots of spectacle
 

The new Horti Fair is radically changing course. The addition of new elements is giving an extra dimension to the four-day international trade fair, which is growing into a substantive communications and network event as a consequence. The response to this implementation has been good. 

It is clear to the organizers of the Horti Fair that the new strategy is generating a lot of enthusiasm, so that companies are not only feeling the incentive to take part, but are also contributing lots of new ideas. The Horti Fair team is working flat out to put these into practice and their efforts are starting to bear fruit.
 
Hall 8 is completely dedicated to fresh produce and fresh handling. Registration has started for the recently taken over Horti Fair Fresh and is being well received by exhibitors. Besides the participating companies, a major Cooking Event will be located here featuring celebrity chefs. The Foodlog Community will be giving stimulus sessions and inspirationals there, as well as bringing partners together under the FoodLab sign to consider innovative business cases.
 
Hall 10 has been assigned to floriculture. The take-up rate has been good since registration started and market leaders are homing in on this location. The Flower Catwalk at a central location in hall 10 is guaranteed to be a source of spectacle, with models showing the most magnificent of flower and plant combinations. The Horti Fair is also receiving a lot of registrations for the technology halls.
 
As from today (23 March) everybody can watch how the halls for the Horti Fair 2011 are filling up and where special events will be taking place. In the coming weeks, this is where you will also find the current status of the agenda for the International Horti Congress and the seminar and exhibition programme. The Horti Fair is a leading international horticultural event, consisting of a trade fair for greenhouse technology, (plant)propagation and cultivation techniques (the Horti Fair), a trade fair for the fresh handling industry (Horti Fair Fresh), an International Horti Congress and many symposiums and seminars. The strategy for the Horti Fair is the result of cooperation with visitors, exhibitors and chain parties. The Horti Fair will be taking place in the Amsterdam RAI from 1 to 4 November 2011.
