Market support for winners of Interpolis Quality Cup

Aalsmeer,  5July 2011

This year, Horti Fair is adding an extra incentive to participate in the Interpolis House of Quality. The winners of the Interpolis Quality Cup can count on the backing of Hilverda De Boer, Javado and Noviflora. This additional award is intended to provide winning products with the best possible prospects for a successful market launch.
The House of Quality – an attractive highlight of the exhibition area and a showcase for floriculture – will display floricultural products submitted by both Dutch and foreign participants. The House of Quality is reserved for endorsing the production accomplishments of the very best growers. Judged by the experienced Permanent Judging Committee or VKC, the winning entries will receive first, second and third prizes in a wide range of categories. The judging committee will also present de best-of-show winners for both cut flowers and pot plants with the Interpolis Quality Cup.
Horti Fair sees product judging as very important and has found Hilverda De Boer, one of the House of Quality sponsors, willing to include the winner of the cut flower award in its catalogue. For their part, Javado and Noviflora will include the winner of the pot plant award in their product lines. These products will thus receive extra attention in the promotional efforts initiated by these exporters as proof of these companies’ support of the significance of innovative, top quality products for Dutch floriculture.
Entries
Growers of cut flowers and/or pot plant who would like to enter their products can apply at the Horti Fair website as of 15 July 2011. They will then deliver their selected products to one of the delivery sites at the FloraHolland locations. Organisers will install the entries in a special décor enhanced with professional lighting. They will also ensure that the entries will remain in excellent condition for four days to catch the attention of the many Dutch and international visitors – and their cameras.
