NAME CHANGE: Florist Holland B.V.

On 5 July 2011 Gerbera breeder Florist has changed its statutory name and seat. The former name Kwekerij Florist De Kwakel BV has been replaced by the name Florist Holland B.V. Although the trade name Florist Holland B.V. will be implemented, the trade Kwekerij Florist De Kwakel BV remains active during the transition phase. The statutory seat is moved from De Kwakel to Aalsmeer.

Reason for the name change is the renewal of the statutes and the strengthened international character of Florist. Besides the name nothing else will change. Florist Holland B.V. is and remains a specialist in breeding, selection and propagation of Gerbera cut flowers and pot plants. Florist supplies Gerbera seeds and young plants from the Netherlands to over 80 countries, supported by a growing global network of consultants, sales and distribution partners.
