New Commercial Director at Agribio

 

On 1 September, Perry Dekkers was appointed Commercial Director Agribio for the DNA Green Group. This makes Perry responsible for the company’s sales subsidiaries in Japan, China, Colombia and Spain and he will similarly be responsible for the activities of Lex+, Bartels and Barbaret&Blanc. By appointing Perry Dekkers, the DNA Green Group has engaged a person with experience in working for a multinational in the retail sector and a background in the ornamental horticultural sector.

For the last seven years, Perry worked at Heineken in various positions, the most recent of which was Senior Category Development Manager. In this position, he was responsible for certain retail customers and managed the in-store marketing team. Before Heineken, Perry worked in the ornamental horticulture sector at FloraHolland and Fides for 6.5 years. Being the son of a grower, Perry was brought up with cut flowers.

Perry explains: ‘I’m looking forward to applying my experience to increasing the DNA Green Group’s commercial impact and to seeing its global share of the market grow so that our customers will acquire the strongest possible sales position.’
