Holland’s international Floriculture Trade FairIFTF gearing up for its first lustrum!

Vijfhuizen, Thursday October 9.

Holland is getting ready for the 5th edition of IFTF, the International Floriculture Trade Fair IFTF and Flora Holland's Trade Fair, both to be held from the 5th to the 7th of November at respectively Expo Haarlemmermeer in Vijfhuizen near Amsterdam's international airport Schiphol and the Flower Auction in Aalsmeer. The nearly 1000 exhibiting companies will be welcoming thousands of national and international visitors that will fly in from literally al over the world.
Finally Holland can say again that it hosts the world's largest annual combined floriculture business event. After a few years of unrest in the Dutch based international horticulture exhibitions, stability has returned and is the industry ready to move on.
"As organisers of IFTF, we have now set our mind on a strong growth of the expo and hope to achieve this in the next 5 years. Expo Haarlemmermeer can easily be enlarged from the current 24,000 m2's to 40,000 m2's and more if needed.
Keeping that in mind, we are confident that we will be able to bring the fair to the next level and making it world's biggest floriculture trade -stand alone- expo as well", says Dick van Raamsdonk, general manager of HPP Exhibitions.
IFTF has been fully booked for a while and there is even a waiting list. For this reason plans for extended exhibition space are being developed already in order to accomodate many more exhibitors for the next edition in 2015. Pre registrations of visitors are again up compared to last year and expectations are therefore now set on 30.000 visitors for the coming edition of IFTF. Free entry passes can still be obtained via our website.
